Why Mixology At Home?

I ask myself this question a lot. As a person who traveled a lot as an actor and basically lived in bars to meet locals in new places, I never would have considered building a home bar. When I worked as a bartender in New York, I never needed anything at home. I had a great portfolio of spirits and equipment at my disposal. I had fresh ingredients prepped by the restaurant every day for cocktails. I had beautiful glassware and fridge space to keep it chilled. I never even thought to take any of my work home. I think the pandemic opened our eyes not only to the fragility of the hospitality industry, but also made us more mindful about what we drink and where it comes from. Most of all, it made us realize how hard it can be when we can’t toast in person with the ones we love. When I started leading mixology sessions online, I knew I had unlocked something special. A chance to capture the feeling of a bar night, that didn’t require everyone to be in the same place. It also allowed us all try new things together. To share recipes. To bring some new life into our kitchens and dining rooms. I had no idea hosting these classes would become such a love of mine. I am sure you will love them, too.

Every Thursday night, the perfect home happy hour awaits.

Join us for our Thursday night cocktail club. 8pm, ET/5pm, PT on Zoom.
